CBD stands for Cannabidiol and is one of the at least 85 active substances in Cannabis Sativa L. Interest in CBD has grown in recent years as it has been found that CBD has a healing power on the body and is absorbed by the existing Endocannabinoid system in our bodies. CBD has anti-psychotic, antidepressant and, to some extent, pain-relieving properties.
Oils, extracts and capsules containing mainly CBD have no psychoactive effects, unlike products containing THC.
The CBD products displayed on SafeCBD are manufactured from industrial hemp which is within the scope of THC (0.2%) which is legal in the EU.
CBD can, among other things, be taken through the following products:
Oil
capsules
Ointment
Buds
Oil
The most common form is the oil. The oil is ingested by dropping a number of drops under the tongue. The number of drops depends on the body size and strength of the drops, and is therefore completely individual. We recommend starting at a low level and then stepping up until you feel an effect of the oil. The drops should be taken twice a day, morning and evening.
If the oil is taken under the tongue it usually does not take long before the body reacts. It is not uncommon for the body to respond within a day.
Capsules
The capsules are filled with oil and swallowed. The capsules work just like the oil and are absorbed by the body within 5-10 hours.
Ointment
The ointments can be applied anywhere on the body and provide a calming effect on irritated areas. The ointments help moisturize and strengthen the skin.
Buds
Buds are smoked either via Vape or a rolled joint. The effect is immediate and can relieve pain and nausea.
What are the positive effects of CBD?
There are many areas where CBD can be used, but the most common are insomnia, body inflammation, pain relief, anxiety and insomnia. Attempts have also been made to prevent epileptic seizures in US with very good results.
